Turning 40 and being single during a pandemic isn’t what anyone plans for their life. I mean what happened to the white picket fence, 2.5 kids and the dog I am supposed to have?! Oh right, that is back in 1950. But here I am living that best solo life (or trying to anyway) and embracing this journey I am on because it’s mine, all mine!
I have always been passionate about bringing people together (I think it’s the Italian in me or the Hospitality career I had for years) whether it be for outings, dinner clubs or neighborhood gatherings so we can all get to know one another better. Being a corporate event planner for the last 18 years, that was truly what I lived for, to bring people together!
Life has definitely thrown me some major curve balls including finding myself going through a divorce and losing my estranged husband to suicide at the age of 31. Since that time, I have had dreams about something bigger. And, let’s face it, I let the dreaded 4 letter “F” word get in my way…F.E.A.R. I realized more than ever in the last few years that it was time to stop playing small, stand in my power and make my dreams happen.
I’m passionate about helping women to heal from their past toxic relationships and to find their voices once again. I coach women to take back their power, use their voices and stop the people pleasing in their personal and professional lives. As a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, I have a powerful modality to help empower women to create big change in their lives.
I am someone who will talk about almost anything (I always knew those teacher comments back in school “talks too much” would help me later in life) from the serious systemic problems our world is facing right now to the fun stuff like travel, food, books, podcasts, theater/performing arts to the latest reality TV and binge-watch worthy shows. Oh and dating…yes the dreaded and comical topic of dating in this decade.
I’m just a single gal out here in the world trying to find my own path taking steps in my high heels one at a time, one foot in front of the other, laughing and sometimes crying my way through, but one thing I have learned is – the journey is truly the part to embrace because you never know where it’s going to take you!
